ADVANCEMENT IN BOEING'S

                                                    BOEING MAX 737

The 737 MAX family of airplanes is designed to deliver more of everything to advance the business of our customers — and the satisfaction of their customers. There's more advanced technology from nose to tail: new engines, new winglets, new flight deck displays and the passenger-preferred Boeing Sky interior, with more seats to maximize profit potential. More profit for operators, more comfort for passengers. That's a better way to fly.

We celebrated the rollout of the first 737 MAX 8 on December 8, 2015. The new 737 MAX will deliver 20 percent lower fuel use than the first Next-Generation 737s and the lowest operating costs. The new 737 MAX AT winglet is the most efficient ever designed for a production airplane. This is the story of the ingenious manipulation of aerodynamics that makes this distinctive design so efficient.

New large flight-deck displays inside the first 737 MAX have now come to life – glowing panels indicating that power is now flowing through the first airplane on the production line.

We have started final assembly of the first 737 MAX 8, the first member of our new, more efficient single-aisle family.
Mechanics recently attached the wings to the body of the first 737 MAX flight test airplane. The wings feature new Advanced Technology winglets which will give customers up to 1.8 percent additional fuel-efficiency improvement over today's inline winglet designs.

Boeing 737 is set to feature smaller toilets, where one wall of the cubicle is deliberately curved to accommodate the backs of the seats on one side – while kitchen galley size (which is less of a concern on “budget” European flights where the meal service tends to be sandwiches and cold snacks ordered from a small menu at extra cost) – will also be reduced.
Nonetheless, “seat pitch” – the space between your seat and the same point on the chair in front – will still be affected. On Ryanair planes currently in operation – the carrier’s 300-strong fleet largely comprises the 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft – this is 30 inches. The airline has said it does not want to drop below this, but the Boeing 737 MAX 200 may cut the gap to 29 inches. The A320neo could go as low as 27 inches. This latter statistic will help Airbus overcome the fact that, while the A320neo will feature five fewer seats than the Boeing 737 MAX 200, it is a marginally shorter aircraft.
The expanded capacity on the standard Boeing 737 MAX means that the design includes an extra exit door to assist passenger movement – and an extra two on the Ryanair model.
Although this “pack-them-in” strategy will result in more attractive balance sheets for airlines, the profits will come at the expense of economy-class passengers, who already feel that they are treated like cattle.
Michael O’Leary has also revealed that the Ryanair incarnation of the Boeing 737 MAX will use “slim” seating – although regular customers of the airline may suggest that the carrier’s facilities already qualify for this rather flattering description.

GO GLAM IN THE SKIES BY PTC AVIATION ACADEMY NOURSHIES YOU....

GROOMING TIPS AND PRACTICAL TRAINING BY PTC AVIATION ACADEMY

  • Drink coconut water and cucumber juice but AVOID wearing lip gloss: Cabin crew reveal top secrets to looking good on long flights

  • Cabin staff taught beauty techniques during their training for the airline
  • Suggest using exfoliator, moisturizer and eye gel before landing
  • Hair styling products are a 'definite no' according to airline's stewardesses.

  • When ask what beauty essentials passengers should travel with, they recommended plant-based products, which they say help protect the skin and retain moisture when worn for long periods.

  • Other tips included wearing Blemish Base and Color Correction creams and mineral-based make up.
  • They advise that make-up should be removed with an alcohol-free cleanser while a hydration mask should be worn during the flight to keep skin well hydrated.
  • They say that lip balm should be used continuously and suggest a ‘mini skin care routine’ of using exfoliator, moisturizer and eye gel before landing and applying make-up.
  • Anti-fatigue eye serums, under-eye concealers with light reflectors and tinted moisturizer is another piece of wisdom imparted by the Emirates cabin crew.

                          EMIRATES CABIN CREW ON FLIGHTS

  • To avoid the effects of low humidity and retain moisture, the use of styling products is a definite no.
  • Once on-board it’s a good habit to apply hair oil or serum to the ends of the hair to counteract this.
  • If brushing your hair, use a wooden hairbrush so that the aircraft’s static electricity doesn’t leave your hair standing on end!
  • Dehydration will affect the skin in general especially the hands, face and cuticles during long haul flights. Drink lots of water throughout the flight and hydrate as much as possible in the days prior to flying by drinking water, fruit and vegetable juices (especially cucumber).
  • Putting body lotion or body oil on clean skin before take-off also really helps, as well as removing any make-up and applying moisturizer to the skin.
  • Avoid waterproof mascara as this will dry out the lashes on-board. Cabin Crew sometimes use a pea-sized amount of hand cream or lip gloss to smooth down fly Sways and control frizz, which works a treat.
  • Hydration sprays are a great way to maintain the moisture balance in the skin.
  • Water based foods including fruit and vegetables are the best options for long-haul travel as well as coconut water.
  • Although it’s tempting to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in-flight, caffeine and alcohol are both major causes of dehydration so we highly recommend going for a fruit juice instead.

  • Long flights can also have a negative impact on blood circulation, with staff recommending regular walks through the cabin to minimize the problem.
  • Men are also given grooming advice by the Emirates cabin crew, with staff recommending the use of shaving oil to keep skin well-moisturized and prevent irritation and dryness.
  • Male staff also advise using a shaving brush to apply the shaving gel or foam as it acts as a natural exfoliator and helps get rid of ingrown hairs.
  • A time-lapse video showing a stewardess being made-up reveals just how the female members of the airline's crew prepare for work with their flawless skin and red lipstick.

PTC AVIATION ACADEMY EXPLORING OPPORTUNITIES IN SKY

        10 SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW  TIPS

1. Do Your Research
Researching the company before the interview and learning as much as possible about its services, products, customers and competition will give you an edge in understanding and addressing the company's needs. The more you know about the company and what it stands for, the better chance you have of selling yourself in the interview. You also should find out about the company's culture to gain insight into your potential happiness on the job.

2. Look Sharp
Select what to wear to the interview. Depending on the industry and position, get out your best interview clothes and check them over for spots and wrinkles. Even if the company has a casual environment, you don't want to look like you slept in your outfit. Above all, dress for confidence. If you feel good, others will respond to you accordingly.
3. Be Prepared
Bring along a folder containing extra copies of your resume, a copy of your references and paper to take notes. You should also have questions prepared to ask at the end of the interview. For extra assurance, print a copy of Monster's handy interview take-along checklist
4. Be on Time
Never arrive late to an interview. Allow extra time to arrive early in the vicinity, allowing for factors like getting lost. Enter the building 10 to 15 minutes before the interview.
5. Show Enthusiasm

A firm handshake and plenty of eye contact demonstrate confidence. Speak distinctly in a confident voice, even though you may feel shaky.
6. Listen
One of the most neglected interview skills is listening. Make sure you are not only listening, but also reading between the lines. Sometimes what is not said is just as important as what is said.
7. Answer the Question Asked
Candidates often don't think about whether they are actually answering the questions their interviewers ask. Make sure you understand what is being asked, and get further clarification if you are unsure.

8. Give Specific Examples
One specific example of your background is worth 50 vague stories. Prepare your stories before the interview. Give examples that highlight your successes and uniqueness. Your past behavior can indicate your future performance.
9. Ask Questions
Many interviewees don't ask questions and miss the opportunity to find out valuable information. The questions you ask indicate your interest in the company or job.
10. Follow Up

Whether it's through email or regular mail, the interview follow-up is one more chance to remind the interviewer of all the valuable traits you bring to the job and company. Don't miss this last chance to market yourself.
It is important to appear confident and cool for the interview. One way to do that is to be prepared to the best of your ability. There is no way to predict what an interview holds, but by following these important rules you will feel less anxious and will be ready to positively present yourself.

Latest Advances in the Field of Aviation

The Airbus A380 is a double-deckwide-body, four-engine jet airliner manufactured by the European aircraft companyAirbus. It is the world's largest passenger airliner, and the airports at which it operates have upgraded facilities to accommodate it.the second airline to receive the A380 and commenced services between Dubai andNew York in August 2008.[87][88] Qantas followed on 19 September 2008, starting flights between Melbourne and Los Angeles .

The great majority of supersonic aircraft today are military or experimental aircraft. Most of them, including many military fighter aircraft are designed to exceed the speed of sound only in certain exceptional flight regimes; a handful of aircraft, such as the SR-71 Blackbird military reconnaissance aircraft and the Concorde supersonic civilian transport, are designed to cruise continuously at speeds above the speed of sound.

Supersonic flight brings with it substantial technical challenges, as the aerodynamics of supersonic flight are dramatically different from those of subsonic flight (i.e., flight at speeds slower than that of sound). NASA is concluding a series of flight tests to measure shock waves generated by an F-15 jet in an effort to validate computer models that could be used in designing quieter supersonic aircraft.
The Boeing 747 is a wide body commercial airliner, often referred to by the nickname "Jumbo Jet”. It is among the world's most recognizable aircraft and was the first wide body ever produced. Manufactured by Boeing's Commercial Airplane unit in the US, the original version of the 747 was two and a half times the size of the Boeing 707, one of the common large commercial aircraft of the 1960s. First flown commercially in 1970, the 747 held the passenger capacity record for 37 years. The four-engine 747 uses a double deck configuration for part of its length. It is available in passenger, freighter and other versions. Boeing designed the 747's hump-like upper deck to serve as a first class lounge or (as is the general rule today) extra seating, and to allow the aircraft to be easily converted
to a cargo carrier by removing seats and installing a front cargo door.
Design: The Boeing 747 is a large, wide-body (two-aisle) airliner with four wing-mounted engines. The wings have a high sweep angle of 37.5 degrees for a fast, efficient cruise of Mach 0.84 to 0.88, depending on the variant. The sweep also allows the 747 to use existing hangars.

Seating capacity is more than 366 with a 3-4-3 seat arrangement (a cross section of 3 seats, an aisle, 4 seats, another aisle, and 3 seats) in economy class and a 2-3-2 arrangement in first class on the main deck. The upper deck has a 3-3 seat arrangement in economy class and a 2-2 arrangement in first class Raised above the main deck, the cockpit creates a hump.

The raised cockpit is to allow front loading of cargo on freight variants. The upper deck behind the cockpit provides space for a lounge or extra seating. The "stretched upper deck" became available as an option on the 747-100B variant and later as standard on the 747-300.

FLYING CARS

Flying car is more often a Hollywood creation than an actual reality and even at this point where technology might be advanced enough to make it possible, one just gets the feeling that there might be plenty of hassles when every other person is allowed to take the skies. Moller International has been on a course to modify the Ferrari 599 GTB into a flying car Autovolantor, a car with an ability to lift you out of traffic and liberate you from the long queue that you are stuck in. This would be the ultimate delight for those driving the conceptual Autovolantor Just imagine a car behind you stuck in a long traffic queue lift up into the air and just fly away while you reach home 4 hours later after going through the maze on ground.

The Ferrari 599 GTB was found to be the perfect car to be modified by Moller International and once again that speaks volumes about why Ferrari is so special. Autovolantor will be fitted with 8 fans to lift it vertically up in the air and will have a ground mileage of 150 miles while it would be 75 miles in air. The car can also reach up to an altitude of 5000 feet and is expected to go at 150 mph in air.
A supersonic aircraft is one that is designed to exceed the speed of sound in at least some of its normal flight configurations.
