More Airlines and Aviation jobs in 2018 - Uttar Pradesh

The land allocated for the construction of Jewar airport, located in the namesake city, will see men at work, toiling to give shape to the biggest airport in India. Reportedly, the Uttar Pradesh state government has given directions to the concerned departments to begin the job of building the airport before 2019.

The airport has been designed so as to accommodate the main structure as well as the allied services near it. In the first phase, the airport will be built, and in the later phases, allied services such as Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) will be added, as told by Prabhat Kumar, chairman of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).

According to news reports, the 7, 500-acre wide airport will also be linked to the nearby cities and highways to improve the connectivity. Three optional routes have been considered by YEIDA to render better access to the travellers to the Jewar airport.
